Fees

All fees are per session. Fees are due at the time of your session unless we make other arrangements. Sliding scale fees are determined on a case-by-case basis, based on several factors, such as availability and your income. Fees may be evaluated or changed at any time, but at a minimum, we evaluate fees on an annual basis every October.

Psychodynamic and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy addresses a variety of mental health issues. Some of these issues may include anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, trauma, marriage problems and relationship issues, communication, suicidal ideation, existential problems, low self-esteem, and anger problems. This approach is useful for people who struggle to feel and express their emotions, as well as for people who struggle with vulnerability because it uses the relationship between you and your therapist as a living laboratory.

Eclectic Psychotherapy

Eclectic Psychotherapy selectively applies techniques from a variety of approaches to best fit each person’s needs. We take our time to explore issues as they come up. Eclectic Therapy addresses a wide range of mental health concerns because this approach dynamically tailors the therapy to your unique and evolving areas of concern. Some of the mental health concerns eclectic therapy can address include: anxiety, depression, interpersonal/romantic/familial relationships, communication, boundary setting, low self-esteem/image/worth, anger, LGBTQ-related issues, consensual non-monogamy, and transition-related concerns.

Inclusive Psychotherapy

TherapySmith provides LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, as well as affirmative therapy for all people of color.  Inclusive therapy decenters white, heterosexual, ableist, and cisgender perspectives. We prioritize your individual experience and the intersection of all of your identities. An inclusive approach works because it takes into account all of the outside forces that impact your development — no matter how you may identify.
